What bands and artists can you recommend for me?
I'm very enthusiastic when it comes to discovering new artists and well being 14 I wish I once lived in the 90's instead of simply being born in them. Can you recommend any similar bands to my taste? I mostly listen to: Hall & Oates U2 Duran Duran John Mayer Matchbox Twenty Third Eye Blind Alanis Morrisette Michelle Branch Carolina Liar Rooney Muse Taylor Swift Switchfoot New Radicals Santana The Police Sting El Canto del Loco Eros Ramazzotti Boys Like Girls Locksley Matt Nathanson Old school Billy Idol Collective Soul Johnny Hates Jazz Michael Buble Carrie Underwood The Maine Ace of Base Kings of Leon etc... Considering that list, can you help me now? :D THANKS.

- A lot of your list (Santana, Switchfoot, Mayer, Branch, Muse, etc.) is very similar to my girlfriend's favorite music. So maybe you'd like some of the other stuff she does as well! • The Killers (similar to Muse.) • Flyleaf (similar to Switchfoot, but with female lead.) • Jakob Dylan (similar to John Mayer, but more folksy.) • Counting Crows (similar to Matchbox Twenty, but Rob Thomas' voice sounds unsimilar to Adam Duritz'.) Just start with those if you like. I don't want to be like many of these Yahoo! Answers people and bombard you with 20 bands at once. That's just intimidating when it happens to me, because there's no way I can get into all that right away. Plus, many people seem to simply list their favorite bands instead of choosing artists based on the list the asker provides. Discovering new music is always fun. Happy listening!
